![]() ![]() A sound strategy is to destroy their weapons and wait for the FTL Drive to charge. It is not worthwhile to destroy the Elite Fighter or kill its crew, as the massive armada of other ships prevents the player from stripping the ship for scrap and resources, and the only reward for defeating an Elite Fighter is just 1 unit of fuel, and the fighter (and possibly the anti-ship batteries) is likely to deal out a lot of damage. The rebel fleet overtaking most of the map. If the player ends up jumping into the Rebel fleet, or the current beacon is "captured" by the fleet, a fight with a Rebel Elite Fighter will ensue. The fleet on the sector map appears as an area that's been shaded red, which represents the actual fleet, and arrows and the word "warning" contained by a red line, which represents where the fleet will be in one jump. The Rebel fleet is a giant armada of endless Rebel warships that hunt the player down, advancing with each jump. Have any other people in this community gone to anime or gaming conventions? And if you have how was it like?Īlso, if you do decide to wear a costume to a convention, make sure you don't make a costume that will make you sweat out half of all the water in your body.ĪtmoWaveColour = RGBA(0.800, 0.800, 0.780, 1.000)īodyDescription = A unique world, Kerbin has flat plains, soaring mountains and wide, blue oceans. It was really interesting to see people in costume too, even if I didn't know two thirds of any of the characters people dress up as. Since I had only seen stuff like this on the internet, it was so fun to see in person. (No that's not intended to be a joke, I actual number I know of was around 11,000) so I was bit overwhelmed going in to this and seeing, over 9,000 people within two days. (Had to travel halfway across the nation to get here) The conventions name was Zenkaikon, which happens annually in Lancaster Pennsylvania. I went to my first convention today and yesterday, and it completely blew me away. I've heard of Comic-Con, A-Kon, and a couple other of cons, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people have too. If I can get the Kestrel working I would personally like to get on to some of the other ships in the game like the Kruos or the Nesasio. (so you could actually use this ship as FTL transport) If I can, there are some things I want to do with this modding project as well, they are. I can imagine the ship having landing gear, and it's going to get more detailed as I go on and it gets textured. I'm going to make it a airlock-ish thing, because if you look at the game's layout of the ship, the back has an airlock which leads to the engine room.Ībout multiple parts, I want to make it more than one, and make the ship actually hollow, so your crew can walk around the interior of the ship. This is what the back looks like right now. I look forward to watching this project as it progresses, my friend! There are arguments for and against both methods, but either way, this will still be a nifty ship if and when completed. Again, just requests.Īlso, I don't know if you're planning to have multiple parts, or just do an all-in-one ship that has everything including engines and landing gear built in. ![]() If I may put in a few requests/suggestions, I'd like to see some kind of ramp door at the rear leading to a fairly large cargo bay, and also some good rugged landing gear that blend smoothly into the bottom surface when retracted. I'm interested in this one! As long as you create some interesting shapes and contours on the bottom surface that match the look of the top, this will be a really awesome ship. ![]()
